Sylva joins twitter, gets 66 followers after 48hrs

Former Bayelsa State governor, and flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the December 5 governorship election in the state, Chief Timipre Sylva, has joined micro-blogging site, Twitter. “Hello Twitter! #myfirstTweet,” reads the first post of the former governor on October 31 via his handle, @TSylva_ . It was immediately followed by another post, expressing his happiness at joining the social media platform. “I’m glad to be joining fellow compatriots as well as global citizens on this platform. Thank you! – TS”. The profile of the handle reads, “This is the official account of Timipre Sylva, former governor & APC aspirant for Bayelsa 2015 governorship election – Personal tweets are signed – TS”. As at the time of filing this report, he has followed 67 persons and made 28 tweets.
